    I have a tilted patella right knee. lot of pain on inner side. when I do these exercises my knee doesn't move at all.

    That depends on the injury. I have patellar maltracking issues due to a relatively weak/underdeveloped VMO, and squatting is the only thing that gets rid of the pain. It comes back when I haven't squatted for awhile. You are probably right when it comes to some other knee injuries, though.
